All of our team are volunteers. We don’t have any paid staff. The management committee consists of trustees who are all elected by the members at the annual North Dorset Railway AGM.

Many other volunteers work at the station or behind the scenes. There is a huge range of jobs to be done and we welcome volunteers with all kinds of skills, backgrounds and abilities. Open 10am - 4pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Our new main car park is at Haywards Lane/Bere Marsh. At the northern edge of Shillingstone village turn off the A347 towards Child Okeford, pass under the railway bridge and it's signposted on the right hand side of road. DT11 0QY. The station is a 5min walk along the trailway. For those with limited mobility or for drop off and pick up there is a small car park at the station yard via Station Road DT11 0SA.
