The Station Café

A welcome awaits you at our station café which serves a variety of pasties and sausage rolls, sandwiches freshly made to order, a selection of soups, light meals, hot and cold drinks, confectionery, ice creams and our very popular homemade cakes. Seating is available within the station building, with a warming log burner in winter, and in our railway carriage alongside.

For those who prefer the outdoors we have picnic benches around the site, with views overlooking the Stour Valley and hill forts. Dogs, which must be on a lead, are welcome outdoors and in the carriage but not in the café section of the station building.

The café is open from 10am to 4pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays all year round. It is run entirely by volunteers (as is the whole railway), with all profits going towards the running and development of North Dorset Railway.
