Widening of embankment continues
DATE POSTED: 08 Aug 2024After another productive day, we are now virtually up to level with the embankment widening north of Lamb House bridge. The additional width will ensure the stability of the embankment and accommodate the cess. Another 20 tonnes of fill should finish it in this area. On Saturday, the intention is to start the vertical filling on the south side of Cattle Creep bridge in similar 200/250mm layers. New level profile boards will be installed to help with this. The access ramp will also be raised at the top end.
