Progress on the Wickham trolley

It has been great to see the fantastic progress on the Wickham Trolley in recent weeks. The engine has been repaired and is now back in place. It is interesting to have a clear view during reassembly of the drive mechanism and to see how the flywheel drives the friction disc. (This friction disc is fitted on a layshaft with a sliding spline, allowing the disc to move across the face of the flywheel. As it gets closer to the outer edge of the flywheel the disc rotates faster.) The trolley has a new roof and the end panel has been painted.
