News Update 18th October 2022
DATE POSTED: 18 Oct 2022Good progress was made at the weekend levelling the trackbed south of the bridge. We now have a 90m length of the embankment at the correct levels with the surplus spoil in situ just south of the bridge awaiting spreading and rolling. The major remaining excavation is the old badger sett- we expect permission from our ecologist to start work in this area in the next couple of weeks. Thanks to the benign weather (and the hard work of our volunteers) overall progress remains well ahead of schedule.
