Good progress with work on the embankment
DATE POSTED: 14 Aug 2023Metaphorically "full steam ahead" at the weekend, with all resources employed to make use of the window of good weather. The embankment north of the bridge is nearing its required height over much of its length - there is still some height to be gained at the northern end on the approach to Cattle Creep Bridge and some localised areas need further work to widen the trackbed to the required width, but significant progress was made over the two days.
