Further work on the embankment for the extension
DATE POSTED: 10 Jul 2023Work continued, in between the weekend showers, on the rebuilding of the embankment north of Lamb House Bridge. We also installed the first section of the permanent railway fence at the base of the western slope. Once this had been done, the remainder of the old tennis court fence could be removed ready for excavation of the spoil to start. This will be used to complete the embankment to the correct levels over the next few weeks.
