Continuing work on the trackbed
DATE POSTED: 04 Jul 2024Work was under way yesterday on the sub-base in the area just south of Lamb House Bridge. The level is being set using the profile boards which have been set up using the laser level, and a 1:25 crossfall is being created to drain the surface, away from the Trailway. The sub-base is being compacted with the roller. Work continued on fixing chairs to one end of the sleepers.
